Coastal Advisory Council Meeting Scheduled for May 9th

The Georgia Coastal Management Program's (GCMP) Coastal Advisory Council's 2012 Spring meeting will be held on Wednesday May 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Susan Shipman Environmental Learning Center located on the campus of the Department of Natural Resources Coastal Region Headquarters in Brunswick, Georgia.

Council meetings are held quarterly and are open to the public. The Coastal Management Program's quarterly meetings provide timely information to Coastal Advisory Council members, the local governments and agencies they represent, and the public about Coastal Management Program activities and allows for discussion of coastal events and concerns.

Shrimp Advisory Panel Meeting May 15, 2012

Meeting time 5:30 PM

The Shrimp Advisory Panel, a subcommittee of the Marine Fisheries Advisory Panel, will meet to discuss the opening of the 2012 food shrimp season and other issues pertinent to the shrimp fishery.

The meeting is open to the public.
